School Information

Julia Khan

Julia Khan is our senior instructor and Grand Master Kim's highest ranking student, she holds a 4th Dan with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. She has been a studious student of Grand Master Kim for twenty years and has over ten years of teaching experience. Instructor Khan also holds an International Hapkido Federation black belt certificate, as well as a 2nd Dan with the Korean Kumdo Association. She has been awarded student of the year from Grand Master Kim and has won many awards during her tournament years. Her dedication to Grand Master Kim and to Tae Kwon Do can been seen through her teachings and training.

Instructor Khan is a certified yoga instructor under the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres, in addition to being a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Virginia Yu

Virginia Yu started her martial arts training at the age of 12. Since meeting Grand Master Kim during her high school years, she began the diligent study of Tae Kwon Do and Kumdo. Instructor Yu has participated in many tournaments over the years, winning several awards. She has extensive teaching experience in a variety of environments, and is specially trained to work with children as young as three.

Instructor Yu also served as a State police officer while living in Austin, Texas where she assisted in self-defense courses and served as a Community Policing Representative.
